The biggest threat to the planet is the belief that someone else will save it
– Robert Swan OBE
We monitor, facilitate and accelerate the implementation process of sustainability education in Dutch secondary schools. We bring sustainability education to the forefront of politics in The Hague.
Permanent stakeholder dialogue & think tank
Through 4 monthly roundtable events in collaboration with Stichting NatuurCollege we enable a think tank of experts and stakeholders to identify barriers and solutions of integrating sustainability education in Dutch secondary schools.
After each round table event, feasible solutions are presented in the form of a report to the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science (OCW) and shared with our broad network.
We aim to create a “ripple effect” in which existing stakeholders are given a growing sense of responsibility and become co-creators of a sustainable Dutch society and use their networks for this purpose.
Feedbackloop sessions on the curriculum revision by the ministry of education (OCW)
Time is Now Foundation gives feedback on the curriculum revision by Curriculum.nu that is initiated by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science (OCW) to make sure that sustainability education will become the fundament of the Dutch education system.
Read here the report of our first feedbackloop session on the concept visions of the curriculum review.
Building an alliance and awareness for sustainability education
With the strength of our network we build a lobby for sustainability education within all layers of our society- We think in terms of bottom up and top down.
We bring people together, create unusual connections, inspire and mobilize. In this way we create a strong support and alliance among stakeholders and within society for the urgency of sustainability education.
